I doubt this would work for travel very well, but we have a lot of DVDs, and they were taking up too much space in their boxes, so we bought this. I wouldn’t recommend moving it around too much, because the weight of the DVDs does tend to mess this thing up, but we just keep it in the living room, and once in a while bring it to a friend’s house. It works great for that!
