This is my favorite size of these wonderful storage containers. Not too big, not too small, and since they are air-tight, you don’t have to switch to a smaller size as the food gets used up. I have never raved about a storage container until glasslock. These truly are air and water tight, so they keep food fresh and odor free for a long time. You can toss them in a backpack and never worry about them leaking. The glass will not stain or scratch like plastic, and the lids are super easy to get off and on, which is one of their best features. You can also see what’s inside and they look great in the fridge or on the table. The low rectangle design is a great space saver. They weigh more than plastic, but that is the trade-off when you use glass – well worth it, in my opinion. I normally don’t spend money on storage containers, I just use the old yogurt and cottage cheese containers or a baggie, but I wanted something that would hold up to foods with high vinegar and/or acid content. I’ve always hated struggling with plastic lids on most fancy containers, so that was a major concern. After trying one of these containers I went out and bought about a dozen of them. They are SOOO worth the money! Once you’ve tried glasslock, you’ll never go back!
