i love these containers. i bought them when i discovered i had mice and worried about them eating into cereal boxes and bags of flour and sugar. they hold a full 5 pound bag of flour with a bit of room to spare, fit so neatly in the cupboard, are easy to open and close and are sturdy and bpa free.
they work for cereal, too!! you can pour the cereal from the spout and not worry about rerolling the bag in the box so the cereal stays fresh. they have made my life much easier. as for the mice, i bought some traps and some peppermint oil. since i put the peppermint oil around, they’ve not shown up. but my kitchen smells like a york peppermint patty!!
